Recertification

Updated: May 25, 2022

ASBESTOS WORKER:

8-Hour refresher course must be taken annually by anyone who has taken the 40 Hour Asbestos Worker/Supervisor Program. Any member missing the annual refresher must get re-certified before going out to work on an asbestos project. If a second refresher is missed, then the member must repeat the 40-Hour course.

LEAD WORKER:

Recertification is required annually by OSHA. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania now requires anyone working on a job which involves lead abatement to be licensed by the state. Those workers who have taken the 40-Hour Lead Abatement Course must complete an annual refresher course.

HAZARDOUS WASTE WORKER:

Must be recertified within 15 months of the date of the original course or the date of their last refresher course.

RIGGING & SIGNALING:
